Very poorly run. Short staffed and even when they have plenty of staff they spend more time doing anything but serving customers leaving long delays. Seem to pick and choose when they want to actually open too.

Started using Pocklington post office regularly recently and have always had helpful and friendly service from the staff. Bob went out of his way to answer my questions and help me understand how best to post my parcels in future, giving advice and suggestions which and encouraging me to feel welcome to ask the staff any time I have uncertainty about postage. Great customer service.

I don't know what everybody's beef is with Bob, he's brilliant! Very helpful and welcoming in my experiences. Yes sometimes he tries to sell me extras but it's a business, sales is part of that. I've never witnessed him or anyone else there speak to anyone rudely. Lack of flat access is a shame but it is an old building and like a lot of the buildings in Pocklington, sadly isn't easy to update. Anyway, if you need a post office, don't let the bad reviews put you off!
