Always outstanding. They triage appointments well so you get seen quickly, staff are patient, skilled and get to a good outcome quickly. Best GP I've ever had, feel blessed to live here and have access to this surgery.

Pocklington Group Practice has to be the best doctors that I have ever been to. Me and my family moved to the area 16 months ago and the process of joining the surgery was so easy. I have a lot of different health problems so I see a lot of different doctors and nurses and they are all so nice and friendly and I never feel rushed when am in with any of the doctors or nurses they really do take there time to make sure that needs have been met. AND LETS NOT FORGET ABOUT ALL THE STAFF IN THE DISPENSARY. Let me tell you all You are all AMAZING AND SO KIND HEARTED💖 All the hard work you do is incredible, they are always there to make sure your repeat prescriptions are done on time and it’s always service with a big smile from all of them. It was Only a few months ago I had so much going on at home and with my health issues I was worn out but I tried to put a brave face on for everyone and it was working for most people but NOT the girls at the dispensary they could see right through me 🙂and they new I wasn’t ok and they came out to check on me and gave me some water and they sat there and talked with me got me checked over before I left and they reminded me to look after myself and take care of myself because am no good to anyone else if am ended up in hospital. They get to know you as a person not just a patient and sometimes I think they get forgotten about because we don’t get to see how hard and dedicate they are to all the patients behind there dispensary door. My wife and I moved to this practice some 5 months ago and after years of mediocre care I was surprised and delighted at how good this practice is . The staff are practical, polite and efficient and the entire practice comes across as being well run. Health care is never going to be easy in the current climate but the subtle differences brought about by believing you have somebody in your corner for a change is of huge benefit .

If I’m completely honest, I wouldn’t even put it as 1. My son had been NEGLECTED by these, I had gone in 3 times about the same problem, yet still nothing. They wouldn’t pay attention or even acknowledge what I was saying; claiming how there was ‘nothing concerning’ & he was ‘fine’. Today I was on the phone to Dr Green, he belittled me. Spoke down to me & even told me that I clearly didn’t care enough about my son as we missed an appointment due to my son not being able to sleep for days, I can’t even begin to describe how rude and disgusting he was to me & my son. I’m a young mum, going to the people I’m supposed to for help & this is how they treat me for over a week… It’s disgusting & I will be taking this further.

This is absolutely the best, most organised GP practice I have ever been registered at. I have needed ongoing support and reassurance since being very poorly in ICU 4 years ago. They have always been very proactive and have seen me, often at short notice, when needed. Referrals to YDH have been quick and thorough as have their response to online contact. These people have somehow kept me alive and have never let me down. Its a wonderful feeling to be able to have full faith in your medical teams. Thank you all so much for your care and support.
