Egremont Pines

Just got back from a 3 night camping trip, we all agreed we'd be making another visit. Well kept camp site, clean facilities (one male/one female shower, and i believe a unisex shower in reception) spacious pitches, great hosts, and to top it off.....the chickens, goats and alpacas. Big thank you to Deanna for allowing us to walk the goats, and see the stud arrive, the kids loved it! If I had one 'very very minor wonder' (wonder more than any kind of negative) we were fortunate the site wasn't packed, but if it was, I imagine there might be a wait for the showers given there wasn't many. A little tip.....we turned the sensor light off behind our tent as people could walk past to go to the toilet block.

Great site. Our first but certainly not last stay here. Owner and site managers really friendly and helpful. Lovely clean facilities. Didn't get chance to use the BBQ hut but will next time hopefully. Just a lovely place overall.

Absoloutely brilliant little campsite, would 100% go back again. Electric hookups were a dream to eliminate any charging issues. So nice to be around the goats and alpacas too. And easy drive into York but far enough away for it to be lovely and quiet. Kids loved it!

2nd time back and we absolutely love it here ! Everyone is so friendly, kids love it , the animals are gorgeous we even got to feed them and walk the goats they do a hedgehog hunt on a night which my girls loved ! Definitely going to keep returning xx

Lovely small site with flat grass pitches. Very good value. We were there midweek out of holidays when it was quiet. Loved the fields full of alpacas and the friendly chickens. Owner and manager both very welcoming. Great for various length cycle routes around Pocklington which has a real market on Tuesday and several cafés for lunch. Will come again.
