Service here is terrible. Ordered Kebab and Chips, recieved my kebab and then got chips nearly 20 minutes later. They also forgot my friends order. No clear managment or leadership in the kitchen, i feel sorry for the regular staff. Never had this problem at the wakefield store, but this one is abysmal. What shouldve taken no longer than 20 minutes ended up being nearly an hour. I can understand issues when its busy, but it wasnt. There was 3 customers at the time Food was also not nice. Chicken in the Kebab was rock hard and cold. Chips (when i finally got them) were undercooked.
Had dinner at Abdul last night and really enjoyed the experience. The food was very tasty, delicious with full of love in it. Everything we ordered was well cooked and satisfying. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was good too. Definitely a nice place for a relaxed dinner will visit again soon
Was in Castleford and these guys were nearby so thought I would give them a try. Order the mixed kebab meal which consisted of 4 different types of meat and a chicken burger. The portion sizes are very good and the meal came with chips. They only seem to be one of the very few restaurants nowaday that offer complimentary poppadoms whilst you're waiting for your order which is a nice touch. The mixed kebab was mainly very nice the chicken donner in particular was very flavoursome and cooked well, did not come across any bones or over cooked pieces, the donner meat though was luke warm at best and was a slight let down, it was satisfactory in taste but nothing special because the other meats were cooked and hot they kinda got away with the heat levels of the donner meat. The chicken burger had to be sent back as it was seriously over cooked and very hard in the middle of the burger unsure of how it even made it onto our plate but no issues with replacement burger. The chips were nice, hot and tasty. I also like how they present the food in the pans, again it's different to other eatery's. Would probably try to guys again and try one of there currys.
Staff is not friendly very rude behaviour with customers. Very slow service. Food quality is very bad there cooking oil smells like its never been changed for ages. I Will complain to council as well about the hygiene. Never recommend.
Absolutely awful. Avoid. Hard naan. Bland curry with absolutely no sauce just abit of oil swimming at the bottom
