I took my rang rover to them with clutch problem, they said they will call before the end of the day which they never, I called them the next day they told I needed new clutch which coast me £1345, I asked them if they could change the oil they agreed, they said my car will be ready the next day which was a Big lie. I kept on calling them they kept on saying that they will let me know but they never as I’m the one who kept on calling them as I needed my car for work. They gave me ma car back after 4 days, the total amount I paid was £1450. It was on the 15/11/25, I drove my car after 15 minutes my dash board said Restricted Performance, it was around 12.30 pm I rang them they were not picking their phone, I went back with car the next Monday they checked they said they’ve scanned the car no permanent problem and they’ve cleared it, I trusted them, took my car after 10 minutes driving the same message showed again, I rang them they said to bring the car. I took my car to them, I’ve already missed 2 days of work, they said they’ve scanned will call which they never, I took uber as I supposed to go to work that night, when I got there one young boy gave me my key and said there nothing they can do, my car did not have that problem before I took it to them. I went to a different garage at this point on it was saying DPF full, I contacted different garage when checking my car they’ve left wires not closed properly I had to pay £402 for my to be fix, when I rang them they dismissed my complaint and asked me if I trusted the Mecanic who fixed my car as the Mecanic said yo me it was their negligence they could’ve checked when I took the car twice to them, I’m getting legal advice as I need them to pay my money back (£402) DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE I felt they’ve treated me differently I was wondering is if I’m black woman they did not care at all after they took my money they asked me to pay £120 per hour for so called “specialist “ to check my car, the young boy said it could take even 3 to 4 hours to diagnose my car . I said no chance I leave my car to these horrible people, the worst experience I have had. I shouldn’t give the 0 start but not option. I still want my hard working money back. My car did not have this issue prior to me taking my car to the worst possible garage

Been going to Castle View for years, since they were down on Baileygate. Recently had a breakdown and took my Juke in for a clutch repair/replacement. They called me and gave me a quote, but then called me and realised they'd made a mistake by not including the flywheel replacement and were very apologetic and said that flywheel would need replacing also, but they wouldn't charge me labour on it. This is the service you get at Castle View and workmanship is top quality. You're paying for that peace of mind. Ive been going here years and only ever had good experiences and top notch repairs, so I don't know what some of other reviews are on about.

Cannot believe the top notch service received from the guys at Castle View! I had very unique issue with a front wheel on a mobility scooter needing a tyre, the front wheel also contains the motor so the wheel was not able to fit into the usual machine. They could have easily have turned me away without any shame but they took on the job and did it superbly! Absolute life savers! A big thank you to all the guys there!

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE. Took my car to this garage on the 12th July my car had no compression. I left my car with them. They stripped the engine down full head strip. They said they found that the timing chain had jumped a couple of teeth so they put a new timing belt kit oil and filter Coolant Fan belt Spark plugs and Labour the cost for this was £2500 . On the 16th August I called the garage for the 5th time not once in all this time did the garage never once called me. They told me the car was good to go so I went and picked the car up and paid the £2500 .The first thing that went wrong was that I only got to the M62 junction and ran out of petrol so I got some petrol and got on the M62 when I noticed the engine warning light had come on and the car was missing quite badly so I took the car back. I walked into the office and told them what had happened the mechanic replied is the car still missing so I replied straight away so my car was not good to go at all why did you tell me it was good to go when you new it was missing. I left the car with them. After three weeks and no call from the garage I called them. Dave the manager told me he had brought in a specialist to look at my car. The specialist told them that the number 3 piston was damaged and loosing air. Dave told me this then said he couldn't do anything else with my car. I said to Dave you took the head off so why on earth didn't you check the pistons surely that would have made sense. Dave replied you are not a mechanic so you don't understand. I replied that he had missed diagnosed my car that I am a 61 year old man with not o lot of money surely it is your responsibility to put the car right. Dave replied that he had done all he can with the car and it would cost me too much money to put it right. I left the garage fuming I spoke with my wife and agreed to ask Dave if we paid him another £1000 would he put it right he said straight away no because the job is too big and he didn't want anything more to do with the car.I have paid this garage £2500 and my car is not fit for purpose. I can't even get a MOT due to their not good enough emissions all this has taken 12 weeks and I now have to sell my car for spare parts. This garage has taken £2500 and I have nothing at all to show for it it's beyond belief some one could do this to a 61 year old man. SHAME ON YOU.

Booked in for MOT with abs light on. Diagnosed issue, sourced replacement. Fitted job done. Very pleased with outcome. Would recommend without a second thought.
