Primrose Valley Park is a nice place to explore, walk the dog, take the kids/grandkids, or just enjoy the natural world in this green oasis. There's really nice views across Leeds, too, especially dramatic at night. It's on the Wykebeck Way, a 5-mile (8-km) route following Wyke Beck between Roundhay Park and Temple Newsam stately home & country park, and linking several of Leeds's green spaces.

Great local space with open greenery and woodlands. Excellent view of Leeds from the top spots. Shame Leeds Council haven’t invested in the upkeep to same respect of Roundhay/Temple Newsam.

Plenty of space for the kids to run and tire themselves out, great for taking the dog out too.

I walk through this park most days. Bowling green. Tennis court's. Football fields. Large wildlife pond. Even seen herons and the odd kingfisher, although the pond has been left this year and is a little overgrown. Lovely place for a stroll in summer. Great views over city centre. and as far as Huddersfield 23 miles roughly. Lots of dodgy walker and a few picnic benches scattered about.
