This is a pub that time forgot!! However the Magnet ale was beautiful. Not exactly wipe your feet on the way out category but not far off. The tables and seating was parallel to the bar?? I think it was for the TVs mounted above. And the bench type seats with red "leather" upholstery has seen some arses in its time, dropping to bits, however, a good pint more than makes up for the short falls. If you want a decent pint and see what the pubs were like last century, this is where you need to visit!!
Called in before the race's for a pint great old fashioned pub proper local good beer and great service didn't have food.
Good pub in the center of Redcar decent prices, tv, sports, pool table
Proper local the young lady behind the bar provided excellent service and was very customer friendly. Good selection of drinks at very cheap prices pub clean and tidy toilets also clean. Locals very entertaining if like me you like people watching. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 😁😁😁
Proper traditional pub. Staff and owners are very welcoming, efficient and professional. Always a great pint and very well priced! Pop in if you're passing.
