Food was ok. Limited menu to just pizza as an evening option. We were in the pods and the thing that made the whole visit almost unbearable at times was the door on the pod we were in. It was broken and took so much force to get it open. Why they didn’t put us in one of the other entirely empty pods was a bit of a mystery. The door situation meant that it was open longer than it should have been making our pizzas cold. The whole thing felt janky as a result. Confusing food and drinks ordering system. The app was rubbish. Gave up and went down to the bar to complete my order a few times. The staff were all brilliant though and did their best to look after us. Charlie was a gent.
As oasis, classy, funky bar with lively food. First time in Redcar and this bar would be up there against any fancy bar in any city. Felt classy and well thought out.
Absolutely appalling!! Ordered pulled pork Nachos….. Literally a ‘thumb nail’ of Pork was offered. Went immediately to a member of staff. He called me a Liar!! 😲 I asked for a plate to tip out the contents of Nachos with no pork in!! He still called me a Liar!! I insisted on a Refund. He was sniggering and Rude!! In response to this….. No management were available to deal with the situation! The member of Staff dealing with this was Unprofessional!! There were 3 Ladies sat nearby who were appalled by how this was dealt with! That’s when the raised voices came in!! I’d clearly asked for a replacement dish with more pulled pork on, he blatantly refused!! This lead to the situation of…… ’ The customer is always right’ On reading your negative reviews…. Which are many. You need more management at front of house to deal with situations like this !!
Evie and Demi produced probably the best pizzas we had tasted cooked perfectly to order and delivered with a smile. Well done what a a great experience!
Great lunch with the family, staff were really helpful and fab location and views from the restaurant. Enjoyed some delicious pizzas and a couple of drinks. Will definitely visit again.
