Unfortunately not a great experience! Visited for the 6 course special, asked for a bottle of prosecco but 'We don't do anything like that here' Never mind a bottle of white... We were the only ones in the restaurant however in total we were there for 2 hours. The food wasn't the greatest, Poppadoms were soggy, Chicken was dry and my lamb curry had very little lamb. I was looking forward to using the naan to wipe the sauce but found it doughy and undercooked. Due to the wait we ordered some soft drinks that came as flat as water. The waiter was lovely but what they do half the time is beyond me.
Visited this restaurant for a birthday celebration, we were a family of nine , were made very comfortable seated in a good position, We ordered the Sunday special 6 course for £12.95 pp Absolutely amazing food, each and everyone of us thoroughly enjoyed it! The portions were really good size, we actually struggled to finish our meals as you got that much to eat. Staff were very friendly and helpful, great service. I would definitely recommend, great value for your money and really good food.
Lovely place. Never eaten in but we get takeout and the place is always beautiful and clean. Food is always gorgeous and served piping hot, and the staff are lovely and courteous and go out of their way to make you feel welcome even for a 2 minute visit. I’ll always recommend 👍
Best Indian we have tried. We got take out, food was piping hot, fresh, tasted amazing and very generous sized portions. Won't be going anywhere else from now on when we want an Indian! Highly recommended.
Had a fantastic meal delivered and would highly recommend Light of Asia. We had Chicken Jalfrezi which was cooked to perfection as was the rice and Bhajis. Thank you, Dave and Jill 👍
