Travelled from West Yorkshire to the coast with the intention of getting fish & chips and admiring the seaward views. We chose Seabreeze due to their website proclaiming award winning food. From the first mouthful these awards become apparent and are definitely well deserved. The flavours are great and the service staff are all very pleasant. Highly recommended spot to grab fish & chips, you won’t be disappointed.

Lunchtime Fish & Chips with curry sauce. Well served in a tray & carrier, and nice and hot. £12. Fish was good but the curry sauce just tasted like salty gravy. Chips white and soggy. Mostly inedible and unpleasant. First time in a while. Used to live in Redcar and this place was legendary (As were the queues but short today)... Overall, a disappointment. Maybe an off day. Would give them the benefit of the doubt again because the fish was ace ☺️

We live in Redcar so we thought we'd try this place. Guy who served me was lovely. Fish was a good size for the price, crispy and tasty. Got a large portion of chips to share (there large is NOT a large. Equivalent to a small in every other chippy in the area) and a large sausage and chips on its own. The sausage and chips was about £7. Came with about 15 chips. Portion size was completely off. Such a disappointment. Would of gave this place a 5* but the 'large' sausage was not a large in comparison to other places and the chips it came with was a kids portion. As a couple we understand GP better than most, having ran our own restraunt for many years. Potatoes are cheap. Don't be tight on chips for the sake of a few extra pennies. Saves you getting bad reviews and non returning customers.

Got cod and chips from Seabreeze tonight and the cod was tiny, not even what you would expect in a child’s portion. I questioned this and was told that it looked small because it was thicker, guess what, it wasn’t! Looks like this wi be the last time I come here. The only saving grace was that all 4 bites of the cod tasted okay.

Takeaway Fish & Chip Shop with vegan options. Travelled specifically to get a vegan fish (Banana Blossom) and chips, the food was cooked to order in the vegetable oil as they also have dripping fryers. Waiting time was 20minutes, it was a busy time. Large portions and very tasty. Great to have a chip shop with vegan options. Recommend for vegans who fancy a chippy dinner.
