Usually spot on, I visit each month! New guy they've got in there seems to be keeping things going and the ball moving, a credit to the branch. I've had some experiences in the past where been stood around awaiting for someone to tell you they're available. Once got given incorrect withdrawal amount (short) and wasn't until I left the bank I realised, I returned and the banker knew she shorted me which I thought was odd. Fair to say I now avoid her or triple check when I do have to deal with her. 9/10 times spot on.

Always friendly service. I just wish they'd have more opening days (Redcar branch) especially Friday which is Market day

A building society playing at being a bank. Spent a horrendous year with this outfit having gone there to get a marginally better re-morthage rate. Transferred a 5 figure sum into Nationwide and three months later turned down for a remortgage due to "underwriting issues" despite having an excellent credit rating. Nationwide lied repeatedly as to why this had happened, treating me like a school leaver. Left Nationwide and now have most of my financial products in one place with their main competitor. Bottom line being why would anyone put money into a bank account to be lent at a preferred rate to others but not themselves. Bunch of scammers.

I've always found the staff to be very professional and helpful whenever I've had reason to go in. Just a shame Nationwide has now made that nigh on impossible by no longer opening on Saturday mornings, meaning those of us that work Monday to Friday in another town can no longer access the branch.

Transferred to Nationwide, Redcar and everything that I’ve needed help with has been dealt with efficiently and by knowledgeable staff. First class branch
