Practical Car & Van Rental Redcar

I rented two different vehicles from the same branch over the course of my recent house move. Both were clean, tidy and in good repair. The handover process was done in a fair commonsense way, making me feel like I wasn't about to be cheated out of my deposit. In the event I was able to extend my second hire and even to pay by the hour for part of the rental when I was struggling to get the job finished. The staff were courteous and friendly, and really flexible. I would recommend this branch to anyone needing a well priced reliable hire from an honest fair company.

Pulled out all the stops to help with a van when my removals didn’t turn up on the day. Practical had the vehicle I required & ready to pick within half hour of making the call to them. Great company without all the hassle. After trying all the big companies and not being able to supply the security requirements of a passport and a credit card I was recommended to try Practical by a friend. I called up and was able to book a small car with my driving licence and NI number and a £100 deposit. Within minutes I had a car booked for just under 2 weeks time. When I arrived to pick the car up the guy on reception was very nice, he went through all the details and verification with me. Once I had paid etc a member of staff took me out to a nice little car ready and waiting for me. I signed to say I was happy there was no damage on the car and I was free to go. The car I had for 3 days was brilliant. I didn’t want to give it back at the end of my 600 mile trip! When I took it back they did the usual checks, put the deposit back in my debit card and that was it, job done. Will definitely use Practical again and would without a doubt recommend these to anyone who needs to rent a car or van.
