Lagan Surgery

I would just like to take some time out to praise Alison (Receptionist/Secretary) at the Lagan Surgery and to thank her for being so kind and emphatic towards me yesterday. You can tell that she exudes passion in everything that she does because not only did she listen (when no one else would) but she really did go above and beyond to provide me with the answer that i had spent a week trying to resolve and that I am truly grateful for. Thankyou again Alison and i commend you for your helpful attitude, professionalism and most of all your patience...

Visited the nurse today for blood pressure/ bloods and general check up . Nurse Debbie Mac did my examination/tests . This lady is brilliant! Absolutely fabulous! Kind caring knowledgeable an absolute credit to the practice.

Absolutely the worst drs surgery I've ever encountered. I was a patient before it became part of South Grange Medical Practice and it was a good surgery then. Dr Sutcliffe, and her husband, were both excellent GPs. Now Lagan surgery ignore consultant instructions, won't book appointments in advance and are generally unaccommodating to disabled people. I can't count the number of times they have decided to ignore a request from one of my hospital consultants and it has detrimentally affected my health, both mentally and physically. I really wish that GP surgeries in this area provided better services and that we had more options, but unfortunately they don't.

The Dr is great, compassionate and customer focused. He will listen to your concerns and address them, leaving me confident when I leave the surgery. Staff do a great job, running and supporting the practice and helping with any queries.

Cant comment on the doctors at this point, never got to speak to one. Phoned for an emergency appointment. Advised to ring 999. I didnt feel it needed that. So was told a doctor would contact me. Told the receptionist that I was at work and did not have my mobile on me, as i had left it at home. That call was a 8am. Rang at 12:30 to ask when was the doctor ringing me to be told they were too busy. To keep it brief i ended up leaving work early due to been unwell. On getting home there was 4 missed calls on my mobile. The 3rd one at 11:30 approx asking me to contact them. I had rang them at 12:30 ???? no communication in the surgery. So proceeded to ring the surgery a further 3 times. On hold a long time to be told no call handlers available. Ended up in a&e and need further monitoring. To contact the surgery today wish me luck. Forget covid people are going to die due to not getting the care they need. Service doesn't warrant any stars.
