Fantastic service after being let down by another electrician. I phoned on Sunday afternoon and Kev came first thing Monday morning to disconnect my old oven, then came to install my new one. He was very thorough and did a great job.
Kev was great throughout. Found an issue with our wires one morning and he didn’t hesitate to come out and have a look. Kev managed to book us in for a rewire, he did an amazing job and he is very professional. 100% recommend for any electrical services. Thank you for all your help, much appreciated.
I rang Kev (Pearson Electrical Services) in a state of distress after being badly let down by a tradesman off MyBuilder.com who left our family for the weekend in a position where we had no sockets working (apart from 2) in the whole downstairs of our house, including no heating or hot water. Kev had the patients of a saint when listening to my concern as I was very++ upset. He spent a considerable period of time fact finding to try and eliminate potential causative factors to support us to try and get the electric back on for the night. And he did it. Kev gave up his Sunday morning to come round to try and best manage the issue. He had to restart the whole checking process the previous man undertook however clearly did it properly. He was very thorough and methodical in his work. Not just checking electrical measures but also checked the wiring in all the sockets and rewired all those that had loose wires or were badly wired to make them safe. Eventually he managed to narrow the problem down to an area and pinpointed the issue to a connection box, we didn't even know existed, underneath the middle of the kitchen floor. Sadly the laminate flooring and floor boards had to be lifted but he kept this to a minimum. Kev was right and found a connection box that had been left by the builders on the ground floor of the kitchen foundations which had flooded. We were speechless. He removed the damaged cables and replaced the box and resighted two new boxes 'off' the ground in a dry location. The man worked flat out for 7 hours to resolve our issue. And despite the numerous faults he found along his way around the house, he remained completely professional and focused. Kev is outstanding at what he does and clearly works to a high standard. He left no stone unturned to identify our problem that day. From a personal perspective he is truly a wonderful person and very considerate. From the initial call, to attending the house and the following day - he has consistently made contact to check on us to ensure no further problems have occurred. His approach, manner and application of skills has restored my faith in the belief that their are still good people out there. This man is worth his weight in gold and deserves far more than 5 stars for his work.
I first contacted Kev on a Sunday after noticing a fish like smell down by the electrical unit (Very old, needed a replacement). Kev didn't hesitate and came down very quickly on the same day, he then checked out the board and found the source of the issue. I then requested a full electrical safety check for the house which long behold came up with some faults and needed sorting. We arranged a good time for both and came to fit and get it certified in one day within 4 hours at a very good price point concidering the work load. I cant recommend his services enough and I now have my mind at ease and know whom to contact imidiatly in the future with zero hesitation. Thanks for all your help, and being patient with the dog lol.
Last Friday we had a total failure of our house lights on three levels. No breakers had tripped so Kevin had to work very methodically at the switchboard to find and correct the fault. He worked till late on Friday, had a major job in Milton Keynes on Saturday, and then finished his work here on Sunday. As well as fixing the main problem Kevin improved the operation of our landing lights and soon had our old doorbell working. We would not hesitate to recommend him. Gordon and Alison Barnes
