Excellent service. We got let down by another garage in Redcar for a replacement clutch and Paul, Chris and the team stepped in and did a great job. Great communication and a fast turnaround. Highly recommended.

Took my car in for some brake work (brake fluid change). Ended up needing 2 new calipers (seized bleed nipples). The brakes were worse on collection - as in dangerously worse. I ordered a full set of discs and pads and changed them myself within 3 days of using this garage. Now, here's what i found when working on the brakes; - Brake fluid reservoir filled to the brim - had to drain 50ml out to get to the MAX level of the reservoir BEFORE i changed the discs and pads all round. I ended up draining an additional 30ml. - Brake hose on nearside rear was twisted. - Anti squeal shim on nearside rear fell off when i removed the wheel (it should be held in place by a flat spring which was fitted incorrectly). - The invoice they provided did not provide a breakdown of parts provided and labour costs. It was all the work done lumped into one price. - The brake pad wear sensor on the nearside rear looked old (lots of dirt on the connectors). If they had taken it off to change calipers, they would have needed to use a new one (they're single use and i changed it when i did the brakes). - I noticed what appeared to be a small patch of freshly exposed metal on one of the calipers that wasn't changed - almost like someone had began cleaning it with a wire wheel for whatever reason. - They got defensive when i asked for the old calipers back and they didn't provide them. Now, i don't refer to trading standards lightly, but considering they're a car repair and maintenance garage, and they overfilled the brake fluid reservoir resulting in vastly inferior braking characteristics, i felt i needed to. Imagine someone who isn't as mechanically savvy driving around like that for a long time. It's downright dangerous. In closing i don't feel i got good service, value for money or an acceptable standard of service. It left a very bad taste in the mouth. I would steer WELL clear.

I had an issue with my car last week, I called and had the fortune to have the phone answered by Paul, who told me to come down and he'd find time to give it the once over. Long story short I towed my car down and Paul put a few litres of oil in to try and save her but eventually I received the news that it was DOA. The guys could have told me they could fix it and coaxed me into spending thousands to get a short term customer, but they were honest with me, told me straight it would be cheaper to buy a new car. Wouldn't accept any money for the consultation or the oil and instead of gaining a short term customer, gained a long term customer. Honesty goes a long way in the motor trade and knowing that you can trust a garage is a big plus.

Fantastic garage!! Saved me an absolute fortune repairing my headlight unit for me, went completely over my car and brought it back to life. Honestly, couldn't recommend him enough! Thank you.
