Redcar Primary Care Hospital

I must say that I was very pleased with my overall care and treatment that I received from Ravenscar clinic. I had to have quite a large cyst removed from my scalp, and the doctor, who performed the operation, and the two nurses on duty, were very attentive and put me at ease. Very friendly. The clinic itself, is very clean, and pleasant environment . Would definitely recommend to anyone who is given a choice . Too many people complain about the service they either receive or don’t receive, but don’t take the time to give these people the recognition they deserve they deserve. Thankyou

I was at Redcar Primary Care hospital tonight with a dog bite and the staff were an exceptionally helpful and friendly bunch. I would like to give 5 star ratings to a couple of nurses but will write to their managers to do so.

Good social distancing measures in place, guidelines for all hospital visitors / patients to follow clearly visible, handsanitiser available on entry, seating spaced out, notices for facemasks to be worn. Good sized car park with plenty of spaces and free.

I went for an MRI scan. Good points is free parking, ease of access and no queue or waiting time. The scan itself was quick but if it's your head and you are claustrophobic, it was an ordeal with a cage fastening your head to the table. The nurse appeared to have little understanding and hardly communicated with me. Although the letter mentioned help with claustrophobia, it wasn't forthcoming. Through extreme willpower, I managed to control my panic as I needed the scan doing. No thanks to the nurse who had zero bedside manner. People are claustrophobic often I think, but not everyone will be the same.

Decent sized car park which is free! Staff were extremely helpful and caring!
