How amazing are red car carpet fitters please ! They’ve done an amazing job in my house they’ve fitted a few carpets in my house & I am obsessed: they are all lovely and their work is spot on! They take their time & the end result is lush ! Thanks guys x

I've given them one star but in reality they don't even deserve that. I bought some flooring from franksthethievesflooringstoreredcar and had the misfortune to have their fitters fit it, what a mistake that was as the end result is completely amateurish. The fitter was stopped by his colleague from making the first cut as he didn’t have the flooring straight, however it is perfectly clear that this was not resolved and the fitter carried on knowing that at every corner it was going to be misaligned. I had not noticed this myself as I am partially blind only having vision in my left eye. It was only when the kickboard plinths were fitted that the extent of the misalignment was seen. Contacting the store was ridiculous but after eight emails I managed to speak to whom I presume to be the manager. Given the way every straight edge of the flooring is out of line I asked for a partial refund of the fitting cost which was £70. I provided several photographs to show the misalignment, but apparently, they don’t want a respectful settlement and decided to send an inspector from Hartlepool. The cost of fuel and the time spent doing so will have cost more a goodwill gesture of a partial refund 🤞 The inspector came this morning and diagnosed the problem as a wall not being square even though he never actually did anything he just stood there, his eyesight must be perfect!! Though I think it was just a reason to fob me off which begs the question why he even travelled all the way from Hartlepool? He suggested that next time I get flooring that I get a plain design but told me that practically all lino has a pattern which negates his advice. The store manager called to repeat that the bungalow doesn’t have accurate square walls, which I’d bet most houses don’t have. He went on to say that they would not replace the flooring something I had never expected. He did though say that if I wanted, I could replace the flooring AT MY COST, I mean is he deluded or what, he’d probably expect me to have the same cowboy fitters, fool! Not only that he is an outright LIAR. If there is a wall that was not square then some of the flooring would run out but others would be straight whereas every unit shows misaligned flooring.😡 After this experience I’m hardly going to waste another three hundred pound on a thieving company with overweight, unfit inept fitters. I would have accepted £30 but instead they spent more than that to send somebody from Hartlepool who barely spent ten minutes here. They are basically just thieves.😡🤬🤬🤬 Buy at your peril👎👎👎👎

Let me be very honest, I have never known customer service like this, after being told my appointment had been cancelled on the day, on the day of fitting I had a professional come look at the fitting, he could not believe the state in which it had been left, they turned up with out the relevant items this was the stores fault in Redcar, the vinyl did not reach the side of the skirting boards, it was not even stuck to the floor as you can see in the pictures. If you want a high quality fitting please use some where else, we are left to pay for beading to cover it, as for the fitting through to the other room wow what a joke, the attitude of the manager very bad, who even had the cheek to charge us for door bars which when got dropped off where bent. Be warned ⚠️ I couldn't fault the carpet fitting in fairness. Will never be using them ever again ....

Sept 19th 2023 Just had vinyl laid in the bathroom. The white flooring was so well laid, our old green bath looked better as the base is much tidier now. Peter and his colleague did a wonderful job so it was basically a make over. The vinyl fitted in straight lines despite the walls not being straight. August Andy and his Dad have just finished transforming my downstairs. It's beautiful. They levelled up a concrete floor, tidied up 2 steps as well as doing three floors. They did another floor a few years ago, so very pleased they came back.
