My sister and I have just come back from a 2 night stay here. What a cracking place! Claire the owner has worked her socks off and by God it shows! She is one dedicated and resilient lady with also such warmth and care. Could not do enough to welcome us into her BEAUTIFUL establishment which has her personality all over it. Thanks to her and her lovely family and friends for making us soooo welcome. Nothing likely to match this in Redcar. Thanks Claire love Diane and Jackie xx
Ive been to quite a few hotels and rooms in the country. But without a doubt a beautiful room to beat any hotel. The manager is most helpful and pleasant. The room is amazingly clean and one of the most contemporary rooms that really did blow me away. I would recommend it to anyone.
Turned up for karaoke with my friends Thursday night (after a long bus journey from Loftus). Claire the manager could not have been more lovely if she tried. She gave us nibbles & put the karaoke on for us. Her adorable Pooch with the Pink tail was sat on a mat watching us sing songs (occasionally barking). Some lovely locals turned up and made us feel so welcome. We loved every second and we can't wait to return! Thanks Bar Noir! 🩷 Dion, Dee, Polly and Roz x
This place is probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in the staff are so friendly and kind and can’t do enough for you. Claire has done an amazing job renovating the hotel and bar. When we arrived we was informed we was her first guests as the hotel is brand new and I really can’t rate this place enough. I do work away a lot due to my job and stay weeks at a time in places and this has the friendly family feeling and as I say the team can’t do enough for you so well done to Claire and her team and looking forward to staying here for a good few more weeks.
Disgustingly rude customer service, Bar tender constantly heckled across the bar and couldn’t even pour a pint
