I can’t comment on the hotel itself as I haven’t stayed here, but I have visited several times for Sunday lunch. One Sunday in Redcar we originally went to a restaurant on the front, but there was over an hour wait for food due to only one chef being in. We were recommended O’Grady’s instead, so we headed over. When we arrived, there were no free tables in the restaurant, but we were offered seats in the bar, which we didn’t mind at all. Unfortunately for me, the beef had already sold out, and since I don’t eat pork or gammon, I chose the turkey—even though I’m not usually a fan. It turned out to be absolutely delicious, so much so that I still crave it now! We’ve been back several times since because we just love it 🤤. We’ve eaten in both the bar and the restaurant. The restaurant is definitely more comfortable and inviting, but I actually prefer the way the meals are served in the bar—already plated and ready to enjoy. I’m really keen to visit during the week sometime to try something from their main menu. The staff have always been friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better.

Love this place for something to eat - I prefer the steak pie but am quite partial to a piece of fish. The prices are excellent and the portion sizes are huge - already looking forward to my next visit.

Visited plenty of times, lovely staff and some nice rooms to stay in! The only complaint I have would be about the the barbecue sauce. Advising you to buy the actual brand and serve that because the one that’s currently used isn’t all that nice. Is it really?

Can’t comment on the hotel part, but the food shows no care at all. Steak pie that was unseasoned and a parmo that just wasn’t a parmo.

Came for a funeral Wake. Bar facilities were disappointing as some beer was not available. Food ok.
