WOW - SUPERB IN EVERY WAY. Stayed for a 5 night break recently at The Old Town Hall. We received a warm, friendly, attentative welcome from the truly amazing hosts Louise and David. We were shown to our beautifull room The Wensleydale Suite. It was immaculately clean, very well presented and furnished to a very high standard with quality luxury furniture, fittings and bedding. It was spacious with a separate sitting room and a fabulous double sized jacuzzi bath plus a separate double shower cubicle. There was a fridge with complimentary contents and freshly baked biscuits daily. Downstairs in the lounge delicious lemon drizzle cake and a large pot of Yorkshire Tea awaited us. Breakfasts were cooked to order and to perfection, plentifull, served hot and tasted delicious. The menu choice was excellent and vast. All the produce is sourced locally using the highest quality ingredients which was very evident. The bread is made each morning on the premises by David and its amazing. Jams and marmalades are also made by the very talented hosts and they are superb. The local pub The Redmire Village Pub is 2 minutes walk away. We always received a friendly welcome from the staff and locals and the food was always outstanding. The location is central for touring The Yorkshire Dale's. Easy drives away include Hawes, The Wensleydale Creamery, Leyburn, Tennants Auction House, Richmond, Easby, Castle Bolton, Thirsk, Kirby Stephen, Swalesdale Moors, Buttertubs Pass, Muker, Aysgarth Falls, Kilburn to name a few places. David is always on hand to recomend places and has maps and routes of places of interest. Booking here you won't be disappointed. It is an outstanding B&B that exceeds all expectations. We very highly recomend it. Many Thanks.

David and Louise have created a very special B&B. From the moment you check in you are made to feel really welcome. Beautiful, comfortable rooms and the most delicious breakfast, Nothing was too much trouble for either of them and we really felt this was one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. The village and surrounding areas are beautiful and there is plenty to do when you are there. David and Louise are perfect hosts - they have extensive local knowledge and their website is packed with ideas of places to visit, walk and eat. hank you both so much - we will definitely be back!

A wonderful place to stay. We have been staying here for over 16 years. The rooms and facilities are fantastic. The hosts, David and Louise are incredibly welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area. The breakfast choices are legendary and the homemade cakes and biscuits are delightful. Already looking forward to next year.

My favourite place to stay in the dales, Louise and Dave are kind and attentive hosts, the rooms are immaculate and breakfast delicious with locally sourced ingredients and homemade bread. Lots of little extra touches, temple spa products, homemade cake on an afternoon, wine, milk and biscuits in little fridge. Great pub only 2 mins walk away for great beer and food

What a fabulous break Elaine and I had in this beautiful B and B. David and Louise are perfect hosts. They knew the area well and were willing to advise us on routes and places to see. The bedroom was spotlessly clean , beautifully decorated and contained numerous tasteful treats! As for the breakfast!!!! All local produce, beautifully cooked and presented and served by the immaculate hosts. The only problem was you needed a nap after eating it? The B and B is close to a wonderful pub and within an easy walk of Castle Bolton. The weather was incredibly hot and they tried so hard to help us remain cool and comfortable. We were even given fresh tea and the most beautiful banana bread we have ever eaten on our arrival. Don't hesitate to book this place, we couldn't recommend it enough!!!
