The Fleece Hotel Richmond

We enjoyed a lovey Sunday lunch here after being recommended to try The Fleece by our hosts at the Treetop hideout where we were staying for the weekend. It was only a 10 minute drive away and was easy to find. The atmosphere was lovely and was busy. The staff were all friendly and attentive and the food was delicious and good quality. Would highly recommend.

What a wonderful place. We had high expectations from the pictures and reviews and we were not disappointed. All the staff were friendly, polite and very helpful from start to finish. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable with lovely bathrooms (we stayed in the Swale room). Breakfast and evening meals all very tasty and plentiful (probably best roast pound for pound we have eaten out). Many thanks. We'll be back.

Had lunch on New Years Eve a very nice place to visit for food and a nice drink. The staff all all friendly and professional . The food came out pipping hot and the quality was second to none . Haven't rated the rooms because we haven't stayed yet so looking forward to having an evening meal there.

Recently had our works christmas meal in the fleece it was great from start to finish; we were a table of 12 so we preordered our meals, the table was booked for 8 and starters came no later than 8.20. Service was 10/10, food was delicious & atmosphere was great in the whole restaurant. Bar staff were quick and friendly, every member of the team were smiling and helped with any questions we had. I would recommend the fleece to friends and family and will definitely return in the future. Thank you for a wonderful evening ☺️

We went here for Sunday lunch. We couldn’t fault it. The service was exceptional, we were well looked after and in particularly, the Australian waitress was so kind and caring to our 6 month old baby. The food arrived in good time and the roast dinner was plentiful and extremely tasty. Although on the higher price mark, the service made it feel like good value for money. We look forward to returning again
