Elixir Restorante

We first visited this restaurant 2 years ago when we were in the area and took the opportunity to visit again last night. Having read some of the recent reviews I was sceptical but need not of worried. Greater by friendly staff and Sat at a table away from the front door so we didn’t get the draft every time it was opened. Cocktails ordered and brought to the table in a timely manner, nice to see a french martini on the menu, we would highly recommend. The starters, stunning, then on to the mains ! One tip for you, do not eat anything in the day before you dine here, the portions are BIG ! One main, T bone steak, amazing, other main, seafood platter, amazing ! Set menu is good however, nothing is over priced. Just over £100 for 2 starters, two big mains and 4 cocktails All round it was just a great experience with delicious food ! We will be returning the next time we are in the area !

Lovely, spacious restaurant with nice decor. Very attentive and friendly staff. Food was delicious and good size portions too! I had steak and it was cooked to perfection. All in all, a very nice time was had by all.

Absolutely fantastic meal. The staff were great and gave perfect recommendations. Good wine selection and most importantly the food was delicious, really big portions and great prices!

We dined here on a Sunday evening, probably wouldn’t have needed to reserve but may (and should!) be busy on other nights. Instantly seated and service was very attentive and speedy without being pushy. The food itself was delicious, we had starters and mains and it was all piping hot and very tasty. Menu is extensive and I would challenge anyone to say they couldn’t find something they liked. Not the most romantic atmosphere but perfect for a casual meal out. Prices also extremely reasonable. Would return.

My daughter chose this place on a whim because she fancied pizza It was a good choice the food was really good and the servicewas first class...as soon as you made eye contact with any of the waiting staff they cme over Good sized portions at a reasonable price especially during happy hour times
