Cooper & Leatherbarrow

The first time I have used Cooper and Leatherbarrow and my whole experience was excellent. The eye test was extremely thorough and informative after I had been referred for an eye test by my doctor. I decided to use The Richmond branch due to location and the dispensing advice was excellent and I look forward to receiving my new glasses. I would highly recommend and I found them far superior to other high street opticians.

Exceptional service from the moment we walked through the door. I arrived with my 93yr old father and was helped at every stage. Ellis was kind enough to allow me to record the appointment so that I could remind Dad of his diagnosis at a later time. Much more customer focused than the other high street opticians, nothing was too much trouble.

The staff on the front desk were both very friendly and professional from the moment we walked through the door. This was our first visit after using another well known high street opticians for over 10 years. The shop was clean and spacious, and what was a refreshing change was the personal service we received and the feeling that you actually mattered. The optician Gillian was very professional and explained everything that she was doing and talked through our questions in a clear and concise way. There was no hard sell or pressure to buy glasses after having the test, but the ladies were on hand if we needed help. My son is Autistic and has always rushed out and never selected glasses straight away after an eye test as previous places were too noisy and high pressure with people following him around. The experience in cooper and Leather barrow was quite the opposite and because of the calm, quiet atmosphere he selected 2 pairs which we went on to purchase. All the family wear glasses and this definitely will be the place we all use in the future. 😊

Fantastic experience, Tony Gibson was extremely professional, explained the test very well and put me at ease throughout. He then explained the results and what it means. They also have a huge selection of glasses. Would highly recommend.

Visited in February 2024 underwent eye test, chose frames and the varifocal lenses and reactolight so I only ever needed one pair of glasses. Very helpful staff, had same person throughout. Took delivery in April, fit perfect, distance sight great but reading is a joke. Asked at that time about options if they needed altering but was told there wasn't really anything I could do. Told Ineeded time to adjust to them. So I now still carry round two pairs of glasses🤯 £680 I was expecting so so much more but very disappointed. Would never use them again. Zero rating!!!!
