We love visiting the Station at Richmond for the riverside walks, the shops, cinema and cafe. Cafe is a lovely relaxing space. The food is fabulous. Had an amazing black pudding and tomato crochette at lunchtime today. Outstanding cookery, thank you. All the staff were very competent and they engaged really well with the customers.
Went on the 7th August, prior to waiting to get into our glamping pod just outside Richmond, so decided to see the Fantastic four film. Stunning building, with lots of things going on inside and the cinema itself was equally as lovely, with exceptionally comfortable seat, lots of drinks & snacks, and the staff we're superb. 😁definitely worth a visit, for the shops, cafe etc, but definitely for the cinema 🎥 experience 😀
The Station is beautifully restored and you could spend quite a bit of time browsing and buying. The food in the cafe is really nice, the staff are all very nice too. The bakery and brewery were closed that day. The ice cream parlour is great, they have a wide variety of gorgeous ice cream. There's seating areas outside.
I love this place for its unique, cozy, and authentic atmosphere. I was in room number 3; it was small but had comfortable chairs.
Nice little place, we did not visit the cinema. But we did use the car park to then go and walk to the falls. Very reasonable price for four hours, plenty of time for a walk, visit to the castle and some lunch. The walk along the river was very pretty, and we made use of the picnic tables near the Station. Nice ice cream as well. All in all a great day out.
