Our stay here was fantastic!! Chris went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to make the most of our 2 nights in Woodcock. The accommodation has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are extremely comfortable, there is space to relax inside and out and the bathroom is equivalent to any decent hotel! The surrounding area is beautiful and we were able to abandon our car and walk everywhere which was very welcome. I would highly recommend a stay at this site.

The campsite has such a charm about it. The tent is fabulous and really comfortable. The interior lights could be better to enjoy the space though. It was difficult to play games in the evening so having such lovely space felt a waste. Unfortunately the charm of the place wore off pretty quickly when the people in the next tent decided to have a party until 2am the first two night we were there. They got louder and louder as the night went on despite us asking them to keep the noise down. On our 3rd night there were new campers. This time it was four noisy men, who got agro when we asked them to be quiet at 11 o'clock. Then carried on making loads of noise until after 12 o'clock. The owners of course can't account for the type of people staying there BUT the set up of the camp makes it worse. There's no vegetation around the tents to deaden the noise. The other problem is that there is no oversight on the camp, so there's no deterrent for people carrying on without any care for the other campers. There is no way I'd stay here with kids, we were only there for 3 nights and didn't get to sleep until after 2/3am each night!

Thank you Chris for a fantastic stay! The tents are beautifully well turned out, very cosy and comfortable. We really enjoyed our visit, including using the pizza oven to make our own pizzas! Such a gorgeous part of the world, and very, very well hosted by Chris. 100% recommend, will be back.

This place may not be for everyone due to it being off grid, but the host clearly cares a lot about this place and it can be a great getaway location at a very reasonable price for larger groups

Big size tent and a very welcoming owner. Peaceful and comfortable. My children loved their cabin bed. Definitely recommend.
