First visit after the alterations. Same good food and service. We've visited a few times and always a good experience. Excellent quality and prices. It all looks very posh! See you again soon.
Walked up from Ripon village, stood at the empty bar for a minute then asked the member of staff if anyone was serving and was told to go round to the other side of the bar... No one serving there either so we left. A very uneventful sojourn and won't be bothering again either.
There is no food apart from snacks. I'm not mad about pubs but the atmosphere here is good. I've been when it's very busy & quieter. That have sport matches on & all age groups. Everyone is really friendly in here & I believe they do Karaoke on sat evenings, as well as organised walks on Sunday @ 10. Very personable landlords, too.
1st time going back to Ripon in 10 years and the first time for my American wife Tara, fantastic place, fantastic staff and fantastic owners who made us feel welcome. We will not be waiting 10years to go back and visit this wonderful establishment
Bar staff are brilliant. Very welcoming and conversational. Has a good local pub vibe.
