Had to fill in an hour on a Thursday evening. Had a pint of the rat lager. A bit weak but only 4% so better if driving. They had a big selection of beers and ales. Lovely real fire, cosy, friendly staff, dog friendly. Will go back again.

Cracking public bar..one of the best range of real and drought beers n lager I have ever seen..very reasonable priced and all I tried very very nice..always a lot of people in and a great atmosphere..the open fire was much appreciated to..
As the pub itself was very crowded on the Friday night we visited, my friend and I sat in the spacious garden and thoroughly enjoyed our pints. The place is friendly, and very dog-friendly as well.
