Popped in for a drink with our two dogs, excellent service without even asking clean bowl of water brought over with a couple of gravy bones. Place very clean, friendly, quirky with the old range in the front area. We did not have food.
We visited today while staying in Ripon with the family, and we just had to say how helpful the staff were! We sat out in the beer garden — everyone was super friendly, and the garden itself is one of the best we’ve ever been in. Can’t wait to come back again! — Lydia, The Rose & Crown, Beverley
Unbeatable service, consistently excellent beer, lovely staff which can't do enough for you, and a great venue. The beer garden is a great spot in summer. Inside you can find pool tables upstairs and sports on the screens around the pub. Without a doubt the best pub in ripon- by a long shot!
Great friendly staff. We called in for a bite to eat and watch the match on Sky Sports. A great atmosphere and decent prices. I would definitely return if I'm ever visiting Ripon again 👍
Absolutely amazing pub, the staff are lovely and so helpful with food and drinks recommendations. We had a burger and hot dog and both were phenomenal, plus the 15% off really made the bill easier. Much love to the black bull
