Great little pub. The staff were so warm and welcoming. The drinks were reasonable and good quality. The food as you can see from the pictures was amazing. They also have a cracking beer garden with a tv and pool table outside. Never seen this before and was a great feature. Would definitely recommend and will come back the next time we are in town.
Booked on Table on Sunday for party of 6 menu was fab choice 2 courses for under £20 we opted for starter and a main and food was great. Manger said it was going under new management this week so we wish them nothing but good luck,Thank you.
Very friendly and welcoming, The food was very nice and will be returning to try the burgers. We had the steak and ale pie and the lamb and mint pie both amazing. Starters again very good. Overall a very nice evening.
Apparently it has recently changed hands. Service is very friendly but food not so good. The Chicken parma gave me very bad indigestion a short while after eating it. If just going for a drink then it is a nice place. Food wise - I'd look elsewhere.
Lovely clean, newly decorated pub with a real fire. Landlord was chatty and interested in our opinions but not intrusive. My husband was very pleased with his pint of cask ale!
