Absolutely phenomenal hidden gem. Both the service and food were incredible. The team were so attentive, engaged, friendly and on the ball. The All Day Breakfast was an absolute 10/10, highly recommend. Nice outdoor area, lovely in the sun. Looking forward to coming back to try the lunch menu.
A decent garden centre cafe. A good selection of food which was excellent. I'm not sure why they do table service in such a busy place. This slowed the whole turnover of customers down. There was a constant queue at the door waiting for tables. We could have been in and out in half the time if they had served us at the counter. There are too many large tables, it would be better to have more tables for two, which can be pushed together when there is a bigger group. It was a nice atmosphere and friendly service.
Great choice for a hearty and tasty breakfast. Service was friendly and fast. American pancakes were fluffy and perfectly sweetened with fruit compote and granola. Overall fabulous food and great pricing for what you get. The only struggle we had was having to sit near doors, so it was quite cold with people coming in and out.
We found this place just because we were heading through to Northumberland and what a find! Easy to park and get the kids out, the place feels nice and the dining hall is large with plenty of seating spread apart nicely to not feel cramped. The food was brilliant and very good price for the ample portions. But the cherry on the cake for me was a baby change in the gents toilets! Fantastic! Good to see in the modern age and didn't make me feel guilty about changing my daughter's nappy in the disabled toilets! Also... Service was outstanding! Loved it!
The staff were very efficient and friendly The negative: The Olive tree is dog friendly, but there is a difference between dog friendly and dog dominated. There was a distinct small of wet dog which was a big put off.
