Twice since the change of ownership I have bought a panini and when I have got back to eat it the sandwich has been burnt ruining the taste. They have swapped the bread from the nice sourdough like baguette the previous owners used to a cheaper panini bread which isn’t as nice. Really disappointing as shown in photo.
Was running a First Aid course at the local museum, so nipped here for some scran. Ordered a jacket tattie with cheese and chilli. Came with salad too. Was bang on!! Great conversation with the counter staff too. Good value for what I had, happy!! 😃
Prices aren’t displayed very well if at all, the layout of the cold counters has changed so you can no longer see what you are getting. Sandwich was okay, just poor menu layout so you can’t see how much you are spending.
Great spot for a sandwich (hot or cold) on the go. Under new management so ignore earlier reviews pre October 2025 and give the new owners a chance 😀.
The best hot chocolate I've had!! Always had the stew & dumplings from the special board which was lovely
