Delicious food and big portions! The seafood risotto was creamy and full of fresh seafood, and the pizza had a perfect crispy base with loads of flavor. We loved the calamari—light and crispy—and the loaded wedges with bolognese and mozzarella were a surprise hit. Everything was super tasty and satisfying. Highly recommend!
We have visited here a few times, mainly of an evening but found ourselves in Ripon today so dropped in for some lunch (Saturday) The lunch menu is an absolute bargain for what you get - the portion sizes are still the same and the ingredients still as good. I like that there is always the same staff as it makes you feel more familiar, they are always super friendly and attentive. Had 2 courses and it was lovely - there were 2 staff covering the restaurant and it was busy with large tables - but handled it all seamlessly. Kept checking on the food and if you needed drinks - I always like when they ask you for more drinks before you have completely finished the one you have - so you never feel like you are waiting. Food was lovely - staff are great - ambience of the restaurant is always good - clean and tidy - suitable for couples, groups and families A really great place and I have to say for a 2 course meal for under £20 it was excellent value for money
Lived in Ripon nearly 30 years and never been here until last night. Food was excellent staff were lovely ...was my granddaughters birthday and we all had a great experience....will be back
The best Italian gem that we found randomly and so glad we did. Amazing. You won't regret it. Had a hot calzone and portofino pasta. You won't regret it!
This was our 2nd visit as a family occasion. Pre booked for 11 people. Food was great I myself had the BBQ chicken pollo served with wedges and salad. Very nicely presented and large portions . Asked to have cheddar cheese rather than mozzarella which was done without question. Chicken was just right . Then for dessert I had home made tiramisu ,which was lovely. The staff were very attentive helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was buzzing the restaurant was packed out with everyone seeming to be having a fantastic time. If you have children they get crayons and pictures to colour which keeps them entertained. Also suitable for disabled people manager very helpful getting the door etc.
