Lovely staff you can tell they really care about the business. fish was made fresh and boyfriend says he’d have it as his last meal it was so good
Excellent haddock & chips tonight. Thought about getting a large fish but unless you're Hank Marvin there's absolutely no need as medium fish was overlapping the sides of the plate. Fish was meaty but soft and tasty and batter crispy as it should be. Absolutely nailed the chips which were the best we've ever had from a chippy - crispy on the outside soft & fluffy inside. Lashings of salt & vinegar to season. Mmmmm.
Went here yesterday tea time Ordered 2 small cod chips and mushy peas We telephoned our order It was ready when we went and lady serving was pleasant But the food wasn't nice The chips were dry like they'd been warmed up (Not hot )The fish was nice and white but the batter was thick For nearly £18 it should of been better Won't be going there again We used to like it
Great location with friendly staff. A good selection of fish freshly cooked and lovely chips. Picnic benches available for outside seating. Would definitely return!
Just a short drive outside of town center but easy access with road side parking and outside sitting area. The front service area is very neat and clean!! The cod is well cooked, the batter is light and crispy. The scampi kids meal is good value and tasty. The staff is friendly and efficient.
