Amazing place, some great architecture and grounds. Good trip out for everyone. The visitors center was very crowded, but once you get away from there and start your walk around its peaceful. Lovely walk and ice-cream and cafe at the and end of it all.
Was nice and peaceful, the abbey was beautiful and it was great to explore. However, the main Manor House was a let down with only the ground floor with 2/3 rooms open and the upstairs was an art exhibition that was not for us.
A good day out could be a expensive day without a National Trust Card
A large carpark with clearly marked out bays. Just be aware that there are a couple of different carparks around the estate so if you have reduced mobility it's good to know where you want to visit and park in the appropriate carpark.
Car park has plenty of spaces and a one way system ..easy to park and easy to get to visitors centre and entrance.
