Bestxplace to park if visiting the Cathedral. It can be busy so go down on the lower level to find a space. Look out for footpath to the left of Sainsbury's.
Flat park on multiple levels, can park overnight, £2.40, lots of campervans and motorhomes, don't park near the recycling. The cathedral bells sound all night, but I think they turn the volume down late on.
My car got smashed to pieces in this car park in the early hours of 3 August 2023. Another car was targeted that night as well and another a previous night. Some of the locals told me that’s 5 cars destroyed in a short period of time. PARK YOUR CAR HERE OVERNIGHT AT YOUR PERIL!!!
Great location for all things Ripon, however the parking has been raised to £2.10 for up to 4 hours and £2.60 for up to 24 hours, still a bargin😉!
Large car park with good access. Perfectly placed for visiting the cathedral. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby too. It was tipping down when we were there but it's only a very short walk to the cathedral which can be clearly seen from the car park. Chages very reasonable. Payment cask or card.
