Morrisons Pharmacy

I had a really disappointing experience at this pharmacy today. I went in to buy Migraleve because I’ve been dealing with hormonal migraines for some time. My GP is aware of this and even took me off the pill because of the migraines, which to me clearly indicates a diagnosis. Despite explaining all of this, the pharmacist questioned me as though I was standing in a courtroom rather than simply trying to get some over-the-counter relief. I was asked repeatedly whether I’d been “officially diagnosed” and what the doctor had given me for the migraines. I explained that I had not been prescribed anything and that was why I was there. I’ve been struggling with a migraine and dizziness for days, so my answers may not have been perfect, but the interrogation felt excessive and unhelpful. In the end, I was refused the medication with no practical alternative offered. I went to another pharmacy straight afterwards and was given the medicine with no issues at all. I understand the need for safety and responsible dispensing, but the manner in which this was handled felt unsympathetic and unnecessarily obstructive, especially when I was clearly unwell and just trying to manage my symptoms without burdening my GP. Very disappointing experience.

If i could give them 0 stars i would, always seem to have a holier than thou attitude towards people. They stand around chatting more than dealing with customers. The Pharmacists in the back love nothing more than to be dismissive with you and if you ask them for something simple like over the counter pain relief they love nothing more than to say sorry you aren't aloud that without actually checking your records.

this happened at roughly 1:45pm today 7th Jan 2019 Upon reaching the chemist on foot i was declined service for apparently having been there recently (during new years/xmas when it was probably closed half the time anyway) during which time i had family and relatives over and wasn't about to bring them across town just so i could use the pharmacy. I haven't used this pharmacy since late November/early December time but one employee stepped in and decided that i was to be refused service whilst the woman actually SERVING me was prepared to sell the item i requested. This woman lied and said she'd seen me there a week ago which is frankly impossible. The way that this was done was completely unacceptable and employees shouldn't be encouraged to lie to cover themselves. This chemist has lost the service of myself and my family and from now on i'll be trekking up to town out of spite for the poor service.

Usually a bit of a wait but you can do your shopping and come back very knowledgeable staff
