Nice church for Christmas eve. Loved that they had an alternative Nativity scene to the usual ones you see. If you are after a traditional mass, this one is probably not for you, but it's a friendly place and I enjoyed it. The dog roaming beforehand was definitely a new one for me.

As so often with Hanson, the building inflected with French gothic, and more joyous for it. A classic warm Yorkshire welcome within.

Attended a social function here, which was in the very well maintained and well designed stone built community centre, which is separated from the beautiful church by a small stretch of well kept grass lawn. If only visiting the community centre you may struggle to find it as we did, there are no actual signs on the outer walls pointing the way to it,and the entrance through the stone wall is quite small, then you must turn immediately right and follow a small tarmac road to the very bottom of the grounds, where you will find the community centre. The parking is very tight indeed, with not many spaces at all,you could get blocked in quite easily. The centre is very well looked after, and you can see recent hefty investment in full modern decorations throughout, well appointed kitchen and toilet facilities too. Ripon is a great place to visit, and the church itself is very aesthetically pleasing. Great tourist destination - highly recommended.
