Lovely place to see, walk on downhill and which is easy but walk on uphill and very out of breath, lovely shops ,pub, café and lovely smell of fish and chips at top hill on left side ... it's where begin start walk on downhill...we didn't get some fish and chips cos it's pack full seat table and bench.. very busy
Such a lovely little village with a nice little beach . Well worth a visit . The walk down to it is quite steep so not so good for people with mobility issues .
We enjoyed our visit to Robin Hoods Bay, so quaint and pretty with lovely shops and cafes. However this car park badly lets the area down. The spaces are tight, usual confusing pay machine with parking apps but what let it down the most was the absolutely disgusting toilet facilities. These are not fit for human use and should be pulled down and rebuilt, using the rip off parking charges. Why oh why do such basic human facilities need to be this, they were archaic and absolutely filthy!
Lovely place to visit, Be prepared for a steep hill up and down, but well worth it. You will be bombarded with loads of streets.
Very expensive. App payment or coins. Two lots of people who arrived before us were struggling to download the app. And for 4 hrs nearly £6 is a lot. Not many people have that many pound coins on them. I did get a load of them from the post office at whitby as that carpark cost me £6 there earlierin the day.. So luckily I was ready. What was odd is it has a card payment bit on the machine. So why can't you just use that. Tap the card and off you go. Would be soooo much easier for everyone. I think the yorkshire coast you need lots of different apps as none of the ones we went to seem to have the same. It's a nightmare. The carpark was a good location for the walk down the bay. Spaces a bit small as a lot of cars seem to be bigger these days. Not many disabled spaces. But plenty of charging spaces . That i notice 2 cars were pretending to be plugged in but not set up to chage. Crafty. Small carpark. Small spaces. Very expensive. Good location.
