Parked in Rosedale Abbey, having collected keys for Hanging Stones. Did Hanging Stones circular walk up Northdale and back, tha views down the Dale were great. The art installations were amazing, see hanging stones website for details. I will not post pictures of the installations and spoil the surprise 🙂.
Beautiful and secluded park of the North Yorks moors, fabulous walking.
Rosedale in Winter. Approach from the east along the Egton Bridge Rd and the panorama of Rosedale lays before you. Set amidst the splendour of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, well worth a visit at any time of the year.
Rosedale is a picturesque place, caravan parks, shops and pub that does fabulous food. Because it's in a valley the views getting here are great especially if you come over the moors, although not recommended if your towing a caravan.
