Wow. Just wow. As someone with plenty of experience with Chinese takeaways, Ming Wah just has to be up there with one of the best ones. It's the diamond in the dirt for Rotherham, with a small shop and a quiet atmosphere. The menu is large with plenty of options, including various Chinese and English dishes. Of course, I ordered my go-to, beef chow mein, and of course it didn't disappoint. I waited seven minutes for the food, and it came out hot and appetising. The owner was kind enough to give out free prawn crackers, free fortune cookies, free chopsticks and free forks, which secures its service in the top notch. Ming Wah is absolutely amazing. Would always recommend coming back. Cheap and quick Chinese takeaway in which I'm sure it will never disappoint.
Can’t believe I finished all….. I requested not to put any MSG, I’m badly allergic to this chemical ingredient. Anyway, food was good, great portions and value for money.
Perfect little take away. Staff are so nice and the little old lady that serves sometimes is so cute. Food is lovely and you get loads. Prices aren't expensive. Always busy little shop. Been there for years. Order at the counter or phone your order in. If you order at the counter you dont have to wait very long for your food. We always use this Chinese takeaway. Would recommend 👌
One of the remaining cash only, fixed menu takeaways left, but giving you that authentic Chinese takeaway nummyness- crisp chicken balls, non claggy boiled rice and sweet and sour sauce that's not too sickly. No delivery, but you can tell the owners focus on quality of orders rather than quantity and it's why we keep going back.
I’ve lived in Rotherham since I was born and have lived in Sheffield since 2021 , they do not deliver so I’ve tried to find alternatives. Ming wah is the best . Not visited a Chinese takeaway that can be considered next to ming wah which is irritating as I would like to travel the world . Everyone try the spare ribs with the red sauce it will change your life
