Ordered 4 items and every one came inedible. Jerk chicken - dry, chicken curry - dry, pastry (can’t recall the name) underbaked, and little fried doughballs hard and overdone. Over £40 for the pleasure of sticking it in the bin and reordering from somewhere else. Won’t be coming back. And please don’t contact me to make it up. This should have never left the premises. Apologies not accepted.
Amazing food second time going to Shaun’s and was lovely. Good portions and defiantly not left hungry. Had the jerk chicken, mutton curry and 2 lots of dumplings 👌
first tine visit at lunch time around 12:30pm, chef was busy cooking and no meal was ready for another 30 minutes. we returned back after 25 minutes, only jerk chicken and stew chicken ready, the mutton was not ready for another 30 minutes. we placed one small jerk chicken, one small stew chicken and a large jerk chicken but the chef made a mistake, we got large stew chicken and two jerk chickens, chef kindly gave us extra piece jerk chicken for his error. the protions of meals were generous. the tasty of these two dishes were ok and not too spicy. we will come back to taste other dishes
excellent cuisine , tgis was my first time, how surprised i was, I had jerk chiken so 😋 yummy , the chiken curry with rice and vegetables amazing 👏, I do really recommend Shaun's, clean and fresh cooked, I ll return definitely
Inconsistent with food, my order tonight had no veg and plain boiled rice and a spoonful of mutton curry on top. Ordered 5 times now had 3 wrong orders and 2 delicious meals (hence the 4 stars). I've ordered the same meal each time and no two have been presented the same and the effort of the chef is clearly represented with the inconsistency
