I've parked here a couple of times to use the restaurants. It's easy to find, there are 2 entrances and you can park inside or outside. It's free at the moment too which is brilliant, no worrying how long you've been parked if you want to go to the cinema then have a couple of hours in one of the restaurants. Very close to train station.
Easy access.. very clean and safe with guarding patrols
Spaces are rather snug (edit, for context, a Yaris felt squeezed in compared to Q parks and the like) and parking rates confusing. At time of review, all spaces seem to be free, but far from clear. Had the delight of an overflowing sewer last stay. What I thought at first was some fake snow turned out to be toilet paper. Lovely. Oddly, no public toilets at the site. Also appear to be a very high proportion of EV charger slots. Although in general having a few charger slots is great, Rotherham has one of the lowest EV ownership proportions in the UK (lot of households with no access to off road parking) so this doesn't feel like future proofing, it feels like bad planning.
It's ok to park for 2 hours in red bays overlooking River Don. White bays are metered, make sure to register for a ticket. Development of Forge Island has cut away some of spaces, but its accessible to vehicles. Bridge is still in use but you have to walk around fencing as the shops are knocked down for redevelopment near Wilkos
Cheap, lots of spaces. Free 2hr parking in the Red Zone (get a ticket from the machine). Free on Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday's. You can even use the permit bays on weekends and bank holidays. You have to be pretty stupid or ignorant to receive a PCN in this carpark.
