Abysmal in every way. It's not much better than a wasteland with very poorly marked out spaces. The payment machines are broken and have been for weeks/months. You have to pay in the main hospital building and join a queue to use the worst machines ever created. The exit barrier is stuck open so they are creating great ambiguity on whether you'll need to pay or whether you've paid the correct amount. People park at random angles on verges and banks of earth. It's a pathetic car park given how much they rip you off.
Catestrophicly bad! It's incredible that the hospital puts up with this and yet more incredible that no one gives a poop about the difficulties that stressed people have to face just to park. Going to hospital or visiting a loved one should be the important thing not dealing with ludicrous parking. For which some outsourced company makes a profit from misery. unacceptable.
The parking is not level or monitored and needs modernization. If we have to pay to park at a hospital when we have regular appointments for treatment or to see loved ones then it is to expensive. I just feel that you should spend that money on redeveloping the car park it's a big car park and is not utilities the space correctly. Sort your car park out with a redesign of it and level it and people will be happier. People don't mind paying if the parking is decent and your not having to squeeze into spaces redesign layout and make the bays good size for people to get in and out. But looking at these reviews you will never do that. Thanks for not listening as usual.
The parking situation will make you cry, an hour just to find a space alone, never enough disabled spaces, coming to this hospital is so stressful
Can't find a space past 10am unless very lucky. They've just removed the barrier and paper tickets and replaced with registration recognition and scan a QR code to pay or use new machines inside as of (8th Feb 2025). Not sure when new system will be operational. Often cars parked in the middle of the road and always seems busy. Not sure what the new charges will be yet.
