Rip off parking. Tuesday we came to visit my wife's very poorly father. Arrived about 1130am & drove around & around carparks looking for a space. Finally found 1 way up the back of hospital. Payed by using phone with qr code. Actually parked up at 1211 & was charged £5 until 330pm. £4:60 parking for 4 hrs & 40p for receipt to phone as proof we paid. So we paid for driving around the carpark as ANPR cameras clock you when you enter site & when you leave. This is unacceptable charging for looking for a space. Would like company to explain their rip off tactics paying for parking without spaces available. Merry Christmas
The car park is well marked, and well organised with ANPR so when you pay on the way out you only pay for the time you've been parked. Sadly, I can only give 4 stars because like most hospital car parks it's very difficult to find a space most of the time which leads to people parking very inconsiderately. I'm not sure what can be done about that really.
If you have appointment make sure u reach car park before Half an hour. It’s very busy
