Got to the car park today and the size had been significantly reduced, lost 3 rows at the back and so it was FULL to the max. Some cars had selfishly been parked and taken up extra space but not enough to park an extra car, may need to consider some bays if the space will remain as it is today,
I have used this carpark for years as it is minutes from the town centre and is manned. Bargain at £2.50 all day and £1 will be returned if you're less than 2 hours. This is if your ticket is stamped! The man that was working there today obviously decided he didn't want to be stamping tickets with the time. Obviously pocketed a few quid today as I wasn't the only one returning to my car disappointed. If you don't want to be returning money then don't advertise it! In all the years that I have been using that car park I have never had to ask for the ticket to be stamped...it just was!
Have used this car park may times and the person who mans it has always reminded me that if I return in less than 2 hours I will get £1 refund. Parking there today I paid the £2.50 to ginger bearded man (who incidently didn't speak to me). I returned after only 15 minutes but was refused the £1 refund. He said " you can't have a refund as you don't have a timed ticket". He must be making a fortune pocketing all the £1's. It's not the money it's the rip off. Don't advertise a refund if not prepared to do it. Hope he gets the sack.
Cheap enough. I paid £2 to park up for the football. Took a good 30 mins to get off it after the game even though I was just 20 yards from the exit.
Cash only and has to be paid upon arrival, can't leave the car park without paying cash, no cash no parking, no provision to at all settle even after 5 min, only option to take the car with you, pretty bad....don't go there unless you have cash on you
