bp pulse Charging Station

Now I've been charged £100 for parking my car for a quick 30 mins charge at this station to continue my journey to Manchester, horrible! I had an emergency to attend to at Rotherham A&E and had to drive all the way from Manchester to support. I finished late at A&E and was on low charge considering my long drive back to Manchester. A quick search on Google map showed this station to be nearest as I had never been to this area before, so I was unaware of even the charging point being located with such rule. I drove in about 11:31 PM, charged for about 28 minutes and then left to continue my 71 miles journey. It's very unfair to receive this charge notice as I didn't know any different. Any rule applied to charging here should have been displayed right at the charging point for unsuspecting victims who are new to the area.

A very calm and safe place in the Holiday inn Hotel parking lot. When you arrive you need to go to reception and register your car to avoid paying for parking, the reception is very friendly, polite, easy to use the toilet, very clean. I had a good experience and I recommend it and I will definitely go there again if I go to charge my car there again.

The charging point is located right at the back of the hotel car park. Go through the barrier and turn right, then follow the road all the way up the hill and round to the left, and you should see the charging station on the right in the far corner of the top car park. If you have mobility issues or a lot of luggage there are steps back down to the hotel, so you would be best unloading luggage first perhaps. This charger is not suitable for overnight charging as there is a £10 overstay fee. You will need the Polar Instant app or an RFID card to use the charger. If using the charger but not staying at the hotel you will need to go and register your car at the reception desk so you're not charged for parking. There is a code for the barrier to exit the car park, which is available from reception. Personally these Polar chargers are not my favourite as there always seem to be issues with them, but if you usually use Polar with no problems or have one of their RFID cards then you should be OK.

Ev charger point was all OK just mad I had to walk all the way to the hotel reception to give my car reg & I'm disabled I use a walking stick very inconvenient

Guest - Need to register car at the reception before use. Very friendly staff. Dogs are allowed.
