Last night. Having running low in the night with my children in the car, I stopped to refill my hire car. After workin out how it worked. Paid to fill. 30 pounds. The amount could not be altered. I didn't require to fill as I didn't receive it full. Attached to car to fill. And the it stated time out. I disconnected. To restart and the machine reset. A lovely manager from mac ds came to assist. The help line. Informed us to try again. We did and second 30 pound payment was requested. Again this money was taken. It then again showed an error msg. I left without any charge. 60 pounds lighter. And with 3 kids in my car. Praying with would reach our home. And now with no vehicle. I warn people to stay away. And I await your customer service to inform me of when I will receive my money back.. And an explanation for this shocking experience!
Ideal, plugged in on the off peak rate. Averaged 53kwh charging. Straightforward, enabled on app and set off straight away.
Contactless would not work on number 1. So downloaded instavilt app. However charger locked into car but not charging. So phoned helpline who were Brilliant. Remotely fixed everything. It was my first charging experience and started badly but ended very very satisfied.
Did say was available. Kept declining contact less. Used card and pin number. Authorised it. Connected charger. Got in car. It stopped and said out of service
Ideal stop. In McDonald’s car park so ideal for a quick coffee.
