Rotherham Crematorium & Cemetery

My Uncle wanted a quiet family funeral. No frills, no fuss. There were no flowers, no official type service, no music. Instead I spoke about my family memories of him. Then I asked everyone to spend a few moments thinking about their own memories of him before I closed the curtains and we left. The crematorium staff were lovely and accommodating. They understood our requests and respected our wishes. Some time later we were contacted about my Uncles ashes. They met us at the memorial garden and my brother spread the ashes under a tree. Everything went well and I am confident we carried out my Uncles wishes and he would have been pleased. Thank you to everyone at Rotherham Crematorium

My mum passed away in December and she had chosen to be cremated. The staff at the Rotherham Crematorium were extremely professional and everything was so well run and it takes a great deal of the worry when it’s an upsetting occasion. We were met at all times with professionalism and care and mum would have been proud of her send off on the 2/1/26. Thank you David and all of the staff who took all our worries away.

Friendly professional service by Beth, timed perfectly. The Crematorium was maintained to a high standard. Mum's ashes were returned quickly and nicely presented. The service provided by Bartholomews of Maltby was excellent.

Welcoming friendly and and very helpful also made my husbands funeral a good send off. Everyone was very professional and a day I will never forget

The grounds are well cared for and it is a quiet oasis for a loved one’s final journey or a peaceful place to remember them. There is plenty of car parking a short distance from the chapel. The chapel itself is clean and calming and there is plenty of seating. The facilities such as the toilets are also spotless. We had the service streamed and it was perfect. They are very punctual and streamlined. I have been to two services here and would recommend it.
