Highly recommend !!! BOWES MOTORS !!! I took my Mercedes in for a suspected oil cooler leak turn out it was the rocker cover gasket the mechanic was so very helpful rang me up and told me what the real issue was and swiftly sorted it out now my car has no burning oil smell or leaking thank you so much and I will be definitely let them work on my car again much appreciated guys.

Never again! I took my car in for a service after reading the reviews. First of all they changed the brake pads and charged extra for it without the courtesy of asking or letting me know beforehand that this extra job needed doing. I let that go and paid the extra money. Immediately after, my car started screeching where the brake had been changed. Again let it go as it's happened on other brake changes. However, the back tyre also started making a horrible noise, like a theme park ride going up the track. I took it back, but was told it couldn't have been them and he'd have a look but he wasn't happy as I was accusing him of something he hadn't done. All I know was my car was fine when it went in, it just needed a service. He 'looked at it', and I took my car home, but nothing has changed. So now I feel unable to go back because he's accusing me of lying about it and I have to find the money and another garage to correct what they have done. 😔😔😔

Excellent service from Phil and his team. Car went in for new head gasket. Realised it was worse than we thought. Sourced a new engine on Monday, delivered Wednesday. Car back on road Thursday. Many thanks Paul
