Couldn't sing their praises enough. A good set of lads, who look after their customers and make sure the jobs are done properly at a fair price
Simon couldn't have been more helpful on my visit today. Firstly he managed to get me in at a time that suited me even-though i know he is very busy. I had previously been to two different garages with this issue and nobody seemed to know the problem, Simon heard the noise in person and identified it straight away, my problem was solved in less than five minutes when other garages had told me it would need potentially a whole engine strip down that would cost me anywhere from a couple hundred to a couple thousand. I could not recommend him enough and will 100% be coming straight to this garage in the future.
We went to shaws after we had issues with a second hand car we had bought, I was recommended them by a family member and I'm incredibly glad we listened to their recommendation. Simon is an incredibly good mechanic and a genuinely lovely bloke, he diagnosed our cars failing turbo and glow plug, found us a price, got parts ordered and cracked on with the repairs. Once the work was completed he spotted a dangerous issue with our car we wasn't aware of, showed us our spring broken in 2 places and explained the danger of the fault, he then managed to order parts and complete the additional repairs the same day so we could still have our car back the day we initially expected, all for an incredibly fair price. All round a good, honest and friendly garage, highly recommended
The very best there is! As everyone else has already said, I cannot stress how refreshing it is to have such a trustworthy guy dealing with our vehicles. Wouldn’t go anywhere else, bless him. However busy Simon is he still offers assistance and always with a smile. The most hardworking guy and deserves every success in business.
I’ve used Shaw’s for several years now and always found Simon to be a complete gentleman who is very helpful. Everything I’ve had done here over the years has been spot on! Simon is very honest and fast with his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
